If you've ever had bananas fosters, this recipe will blow your mind. The sweet, tangy flavors from our Grape Nectar add a unique touch on the classic flavors of this dish.

Bananas scientific name (musa sapientum) can be translated to “fruit of the wise men” so evidently we are doing something right when choosing to eat bananas as dessert. Considered America’s favorite fruit, bananas are the highest consumed fruit in the US. With so many ways to incorporate them into your diet, bananas are even more loved due to the immense nutritional benefits this fruit has.

Because bananas contain high levels of B6 and potassium, eating them each day is a helpful way to keep your body strong. Our caramelized banana recipe is a great way to include bananas into your diet while also satisfying your sweetness craving. If you're feeling a bit daring, step out of your comfort zone and replace the bananas in our Best Banana Bread with these caramelized bananas to enrich the nutty, incredible flavor. We even suggest topping french toast with these yummy morsels plus a small splash of our liquid sweetener to replace syrup.

These sweet morsels pair wonderfully with a wide range of foods from fresh fruit and pastries to pancakes and granola. Top plain greek yogurt with 5-6 caramelized banana pieces for a healthier dessert option or even try folding in between Swedish pancakes or crepes, relish with any dessert (pies, bread pudding, cookies, etc). Delight in the simple sweetness of eating them alone too!

Whether you're looking for a healthier sweet treat or searching for a new twist on dessert, you cannot go wrong with the divine taste grape nectar adds to these caramelized bananas!  Number one #SweetStuff!
