Rosé Smoothie

BLEND USED: Bored-O Rouge California Grape Nectar

Tasting attributes: Adds a jammy, rich berry element that gives the smoothie more depth

Let’s face it. Morning smoothies can get a little redundant if you are blending up the same three ingredients every morning, or even cycling through six or seven. Our Bored-O Rouge blend enhances the natural berry elements of this common smoothie combo with only 5-10 additional calories (depending on the amount used) and less than three grams of sugar. Start small by adding a half teaspoon of our all natural sweetener; if you like it slightly sweeter, a full teaspoon should do the trick. Grape nectar is a simple ingredient that adds a great magnitude of flavor without the guilt.

This smoothie can easily be made vegan, by substituting the Greek yogurt for a coconut-based yogurt. We like the tart flavor of the Greek yogurt, but we also want to make our recipes friendly for our strictly plant-based friends.

Smoothies are a fantastic way to start the day by offering a high antioxidant and fiber boost while also being gentle on the digestive tract. For those with higher protein needs (and also higher time constraints), a simple scoop of protein powder (preferably plant based) can make this smoothie a complete meal. Perfect for post workout recovery with plenty of carbs, healthy fats, and fiber.

This smoothie is a fantastic source of fuel and will really wake you up! #WakeUp
